Not only does SELF PORTRAIT present the bad boys of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, particularly Dante Gabriel Rossetti, but more importantly, it follows the life of Elizabeth Siddal Rossetti, artist in her own right, as well as wife, muse and model. Her story is brought to life by Fiona MacPherson, the actor who plays her in a film with the same title. MacPherson and her co-star, Irish actor, Aedan Byrne ( who plays Rossetti) create not only a haunting and compelling film, but are propelled into a present-day parallel existence wrought with sexual longing, terror and near tragedy.

The Pre-Raphaelite pages here contain images that were the inspiration for this book.
